Assessed Values of Parcels Around Northshore Golf Course
The proposed development of the Northshore Golf Course into moderate priced housing is one of the many concerns for the Planning Committee.  Looking at the environmental impacts on streams, the loss of open space caused by the development, as well as the impacts to surrounding property owners is just one of the projects the Planning Committee is interested in.
The Planning Committee lead by Hayes Alexander examines a variety of of concerns to the NE Tacoma Neighborhood.  Locating the NE Tacoma Police Substation was a recent success for this committee.  The Slayden Road improvement project is moving from the design phase into implementation because of the hard work of this committee.  Improvements to other neighborhood arterials are also a primary focus.
